DBS worked closely with the Fenwick team embracing their initial ideas for this project, and then, true to form, brought it, to the table! With the brief taken and line sketches discussed, we submitted a quotation and received order to commence.
DBS then presented to the board, with our scale drawn concept visuals, this enabled all to agree each element and set build size and finish type. Armed with this information, prototype units were made and with a few minor tweaks we were off into production. The feature back wall and adjacent column are built from weathered rough sawn and random sized timber planks in a white washed finish. The midfloor furniture tables are built from the same planking with traditional tea chests beneath for holding stock items and half peck style apple crates on top to display accessory items. Mannequins are displayed from plinths which also have concealed storage beneath. The midfloor units of which in total there are four different types are built from white nylon powder coated rails with off the peg standard kee clamped joints. The Pulse neon sign is clearly visible from the central atrium of the Brent Cross Shopping Centre, giving all potential shoppers a beacon to this clothing range and of course all the other high end fashion brands to be found within the Fenwick store.
